As we get closer to the NC primary this sort of thing encourages me, Poll Shows Obama Favorable in North Carolina
In a survey conducted on April 5 and 6, the results show that 54 percent of the people are planning to vote for Obama while only 33 percent are planning to vote on rival and New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.13 percent of the people surveyed remain undecided.
“Even with both candidates now running TV ads in the state, Obama is maintaining his lead in that solid 20 point range,” said Dean Debnam, Public Policy Polling President.
Rumors of voters mistrusting Clinton have been abound and are part of the reason she has received considerably less of the vote.
I think I can safely say that voters mistrusting Clinton is no rumor. That's the reason I wouldn't vote for her. I don't trust politicians in general as much as I trust regular folk, Obama's no exception. I trust Hilary even less. So who will I vote for should she make it to the general election? I may just commit Hare Krishna.

I think you mean Hari kari which is an ancient form of ritual suicide that defeated samurai, or those whose shame was 'too unbearable' would use to restore their honor in death.
Not sure that it would restore honor if Hillary is the candidate :)

Nah, I'd rather shave my head and play tambourine in airports. Blood makes me squeamish.

I don't think you can safely say anything based on poll numbers. Just because there are rumors that people don't trust Hillary (true, no doubt), doesn't meant that's why her poll numbers are so low. One cannot assume voters' intentions. That's like assuming that Obama is losing in PA because there are rumors that he is a Muslim.
If this election has showed anything, it's that we cannot safely say anything in terms of predictions.

KB - I'm sorry for any emotional scarring that might cause. ;-)
Toby - I predict that you're wrong. IAS you again make good points. No one can say why Hilary is behind. I can still do a happy dance though.
