We knew it was coming,

But this commercial put out by the RNC is still pretty painful to watch.

It's a good ad. It uses Democrats against themselves, and hits Obama where he is perceived to be weak.

The response ad is simple: show what it means to be an experienced Senator. Show the public the total massed contributions from special interests. Focus on the donations from corporations and lobbyists perceived as the most evil and greedy. Also, take advantage of McCain's huge voting record. Bring to light all of his unpopular votes and contradictory votes that demonstrate that McCain is a flip-flopper. Finally, state that as a lifetime professional politician, McCain represents politics as usual; More-of-the-Same McCain.

In this media age, Senate experience is a liability, not an asset.
